Our story
“Projects are built by people. So are we.”
PMC started with something we kept noticing: project professionals were surrounded by tools, certifications and frameworks, but had nowhere to simply talk to each other. So we built one.
Project management in this region can be isolating. Brilliant people solving hard problems, often without a peer group to lean on. PMC is that peer group: a community built on shared values, mutual respect and a real desire to grow together.

What is the Project Management Collective?
The home of project management in the Gulf: a vetted community of project professionals, the events where they meet, the briefing that keeps them sharp, and the ecosystem behind it all, covering delivery, talent, training and tooling.
Who is it for?
Practising project professionals: PMs, programme leads, PMO people, transformation and delivery specialists, and the leaders who hire them. Based in the Gulf or joining online from anywhere.
Do I need to be very experienced to join?
No. We care whether you carry real project responsibility, whatever your years or letters. The mix of members, from newer PMs to delivery directors, is exactly what makes it work.
Is this only for people in Dubai?
In-person events are currently in Dubai, with Abu Dhabi coming soon. Membership is Gulf-wide and PMC Global Online is open to project people anywhere in the world. Webinars and The Gulf Project reach you wherever you are.
How much does it cost to join?
Two memberships: PMC Global Online at AED 100 a month or AED 800 a year, and PMC Member at AED 250 a month or AED 2,000 a year. The full comparison is on the membership page.
What do I get as a member?

How do I join?
Choose your membership and answer a few questions; it takes about three minutes. Every application is reviewed personally by Mark and Rachael, and you'll hear back within a week. Nothing is charged until you're approved. Start here.
I'm busy. How much time does this take?
As much or as little as you want. The rhythm is a coffee morning, an evening connect and a webinar each month; come to what you can, and the recordings and the fortnightly briefing carry the rest.
I'm quite senior. Will I get anything out of it?
The community includes delivery directors, PMO heads and people running serious programmes, so you will be among peers. For senior people PMC offers market position and candid conversation rather than a classroom.
How can PMC help my business?

What makes this different from other networking groups?
PMC is attached to a working ecosystem. The same network that meets over coffee also delivers projects, places PMs, certifies teams and builds capability. Members leave with real outcomes: roles filled, projects rescued, careers moved on.

I’ve applied. What happens next?
Mark or Rachael reviews your application personally and you'll hear back within a week. Once approved, your membership starts, your card is charged, and your welcome email carries the members' area login.
I’m not in the Gulf. Is there anything for me?
Yes: the Online membership. Live webinars and recordings, the members' edition of The Gulf Project, the member directory, and member rates across the ecosystem, wherever you are in the world.
Can I bring a colleague or guest to an event?
Of course. Guests are welcome at most events with a guest ticket; if they like what they find, the application takes three minutes.
